Did You Know?Walk through History at Fort Bowie National Historic Site. A visit to this military fort is highly recommended for anyone interested in the course of American history. It was the site of the Bascom Affair, a wagon train massacre, and the battle of Apache Pass. Cliff Garrett Memorial Rodeo has been going on for 51 years and counting. Spectators are welcome and encouraged to come watch the wild rodeo fun, but have to be employees of Arizona divisions of AiResearch/Garrett/AlliedSignal/Honeywell companies. The rodeo runs in late October and admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children, age six to twelve. The proceeds benefit Arizona charities. |
